I was sorely tempted to show her the original theatrical cut, which-at the studio's insistence-included unbearably cheesy voice-over narration from Harrison Ford: that, after all, was the version I first encountered, and N.'s disdain for the faux- noir narration would no doubt have enlivened this post.
